No sooner did Fast and Furious 7 premier that the makers are focused on no 8, scheduled for release on April 14, 2017. Producer-star Vin Diesel confirmed this date at CinemaCon Las Vegas though a new poster showed that it may come out during summer.

It has been leaked however that parts of the eighth installment will be set in New York, the Big Apple… and Athens, Greece, too!

Universal Chairman Donna Langley told The Hollywood Reporter that there was a plan for three more “Fast and Furious” films. It is expected that in the eighth film, Diesel will try and keep the family together after Paul Walker’s tragic exit.

Despite rumors, nothing has been confirmed by Universal yet!
