G7 meeting to discuss Greece

In Dresden

While negotiations in the Brussels Group are peaking, and there is an obvious battle against time to cover up all the gaps still blocking an agreement, there is a lot of movement on the part of Institutions to find a solution on Greece. The G7 Summit will also see Greece discussed heavily.

The Dresden summit will also include an informal meeting between Italy’s Carlo Padoan, France’s Michel Sapin and Germany’s Wolfgang Schaeuble. Among them, ECB’s Mario Draghi, Pierre Moskovici, and Jeroen Dijsselbloem.

Their meeting will focus on the Greek economy and the impending deal with institutions, with Schaeuble’s immoveable position still on the table as a wild card.
