Germanwings passengers screamed for over five minutes before plane crashed

The last screams of the passengers are heard at 10.40am, seconds before the plane crashed.

More and more disturbing information are coming to light about the tragic Germanwings plane crash at the French Alps which caused the death of 150 people.

According to German newspaper Bild, 1.5 hours of audio was obtained from the black box of the Airbus A320, which shows that the terrified passengers of the doomed flight started screaming over 5 minutes before the plane crashed into the mountain.

Based on the transcript of the recording, the radar picked up that the aircraft had started to descend at 10.29am. At 10.32am air traffic control contacted the plane, but no answer was given.

Shortly after, Captain Patrick Sondheimer is heard knocking the cockpit door, and passengers start screaming. At some point a “loud metallic bang” is heard as the captain desperately tries to open the door.
