Goldman: Why Greek banks appear not to need capital

Greek banks do not indicate any capital need following the agreed programs acceptance with the European Commission

Based on the potential scenario of ECB and the restructuring plans already submitted, Goldman Sachs comments on the first evaluation of the results of stress tests of European banks that, Greek banks are in no need of further capital.
The Investment notes that the three Greek banks -Peiraios, National and Eurobank did not responded to the 8% limit for the AQR Core Tier 1 with the capital vacuum being determined at 2.1 billion euro.
However, Greek banks do not indicate any capital need following the agreed programs acceptance with the European Commission.
