Govt revises 2014 primary surplus figure downwards

The finance ministry said 2.23 billion euros were slashed from the figure

The cash-strapped Greek government on Monday revised the 2014 primary budget surplus figure to 0.3% from a previous estimate of 1.5% of GDP.
The finance ministry said 2.23 billion euros were slashed from the figure, due to less revenues collected than originally foreseen.
