Greece paid its interest payment on time
Sources in the Greek fnance ministry confirmed on Wednesday that Greece has made a 200-million-euro interest payment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) the same day, as scheduled. Earlier, Alternate Finance Minister Dimitris Mardas told the private TV station MEGA that the installment would be paid.
The next 750-million-euro payment to the IMF is due on May 12.
