Greece ‘main course’; in Merkel, Hollande’s “plaisir alsacienne”

The President of the European Parliament will inform on yesterday’s talks in Athens

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and EP President Martin Schulz will join host Francois Hollande to “break bread” in Strasbourg on Friday, with dinner time chit-chat expected to included Schulz’s talks with Greek leadership in Athens a day earlier.

Schulz, a German social democrat, mostly summed up his Athens experience as such: “we agreed in a many issues, while on some other talks will have to continue”.

According to the French network “20 minutes”, the three European leaders will have dinner at the swanky Zum Ysehuet http://www.zuem-ysehuet.com/en/the-place restaurant, which will reserved — the entire place — for the occasion.

No less than 30 Alsatian dishes will be served up for the haute trio.
