Turkey’s belligerent stance against Greece continued over the Aegean Sea, as 23 Turkish aircraft flew over the Aegean Sea (14 F-16s, 7 helicopters and 2 CN 235 planes) committing seven violations of the Greek airspace and 27 infringements of air traffic rules in the Athens FIR.

The violations turned into dog fights on six occasions, as Greek aircraft scrambled and intercepted the aggressor aircraft.

Fourteen Turkish aircraft were armed.
