A few days ago it became known that the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) has sent a request to the Australian Football Federation to hold the Hellenic Cup final there next May. The president of EPO, Takis Baltakos, has sent a specific document to his counterpart in the country of Oceania, Chris Nikos. In fact, the Head of Marketing, and Communication of the Australian Federation, Peter Filopoulos, through the “Greek Herald”, confirmed that the request has been sent from the Greek side.
Also, Mr. Filopoulos made it known that the Federation is not only positive to this idea but has already informed the state of Victoria, as to whether they are also positive for hosting the final of the Novibet Cup in Melbourne. What EPO should now do in turn, based on what Mr. Filopoulos said to the “Greek Herald”, is to send the details for the final.
In addition, Filopoulos said that next June he will visit Greece as part of the discussions on the final and the possibility of cooperation with the EPO or even with Greek footballers in a wider context.
