Greek Foreign Min. Kotzias warns of a ‘hot incident’ in the Aegean

A portion of military in Turkey are causing the problems

In an interview to the Sunday edition of ‘Kathimerini’, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias warned of a possible ‘hot incident’ in the Aegean Sea by Turkey against Greece. ‘If someone is not careful, a hot incident could come about even if by mistake’, said Kotzias. He asserted that the constant provocations in the Aegean were instigated by a faction of the military ‘machine’ in neighbouring Turkey. Kotzias claimed Greece was defending its ‘red lines’ in foreign policy by following a determined preventative foreign police and was forging alliances and support in the region. ‘We are using all the diplomatic means’, he said.
