Greek Prime Minister travels to Milan for EU Summit

Antonis Samaras is expected not to distance himself from the compliance with the budgetary stability pact

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras travels to Milan today to participate in the EU summit on the policies enhancing employment under Italian Presidency.

The discussion will be focused on financial stability and growth and policies to boost the development of EU countries in order to enhance youth employment. The summit is held while there is a conflict between Germany on the one hand, and France and Italy on the other, regarding the compliance with the budgetary stability pact.

Antonis Samaras who is in the middle of difficult negotiations is expected not to distance himself from the commitment to the budgetary stability pact, but to be in favor of the policies for enhancing economic growth and employment in EU.
