Greek tanker collided with Turkish fishing boat in Adana (video-photos)

A collision between a tanker of Greek interests and a Turkish fishing vessel took place on Wednesday morning, 37 nautical miles off the Turkish city of Mersin in Adana.

According to information, the tanker under the Greek flag with the name “EPHESUS” belongs to the company “ANDRIAKI”, of the N.J. GOULANDRIS family, it has a capacity of 165,730 tons and was built in 2012.

The Turkish fishing boat capsized and a rescue operation is currently underway. The circumstances of the conflict remain unclear at this time.
