Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni and the mayor of Athens, Giorgos Kaminis held a meeting to discuss future projects for the promotion of Athens tourism.
Ms. Kefalogianni and Mr. Kaminis agreed to join forces in order to further support the efforts for the tourism development of the Greek capital. Both of them expressed their satisfaction over the growth trend recorded in Athens tourism during the last year.
They also discussed different ways of collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and the City of Athens, in view of TBEX 2014, the annual international meeting of 1,000 travel bloggers and tourism industry writers which is organized by the municipality of Athens and is scheduled to take place this October.
Also present at the meeting was the Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), Panos Livadas, the President of Athens Development and Destination Management Agency, George Brulias, and the CEO of the company, Alexis Galinos.
