The walls of the temporary reception center at Galatsi in Athens are full of drawings by refugee children revealing their traumatic experience on paper.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and children have chosen this way to tell about what they have been through and express their feelings.

In their drawings the Aegean Sea is full of sharks and whales that eat and swallow everyone who falls in the water.

The children draw their beloved who are lost in the cold waters of the sea, their mother and family, and through their paintings they try to depict their loss.
