In the presence of the President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias was held today the military parade in Thessaloniki, under tight security.
Flight Lieutenant who was entrusted with the F16 air show of military parade moved deeply Karolos Papoulias while attending his last military parade as President of the Republic.
“Happy national anniversary Thessaloniki. Happy national anniversary Greece. The Greek air demonstration team wishes to all Greeks happy national anniversary and invites everyone once again to hold your head up high”, said the F16 pilot.
On the occasion of the Greek National anniversary of the 28th of October the President of the Republic visibly moved addressed a message to all Greek people: “I hope that with unity, solidarity and love of one to another to unravel the virtues that once those killed in the Albanian mountains did. We will overcome the crisis, we will not be defeated. I know that we suffer and that is difficult but, we must win the fight and overcome it. I truly believe that we will do so”.
