Shocking images were published today showing the inside of an apartment raided by French police in an operation seeking suspected mastermind Abdelhamid Abaaoud of the bloody Paris attacks.

At least 100 armed policemen were involved in the siege conducted on November, 18 at Saint Denis in Paris, where a large Muslim community lives, following reports that the 27-year-old mastermind of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris was hiding in a flat there.

Three people were killed in an explosion during the raid, including Abdelhamid Abaaoud, whereas policemen fired more than 5,000 bullets during the raid.
