At least 142 people were killed while more than 350 were injured on Friday after 3 suicide attacks on Shiite mosques during prayer, took place in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a.

A suicide bomber blew themselves up in the southern part of the city, while a second one exploded as the innocent bystanders were running away from the explosion.

The third suicide attack targeted a mosque in the north part of the city.

According to a BBC report, ISIS assumed responsibility for the attack.

“Heads and limbs were scattered on the floor, the blood ran like a river”, said an eye-witness who spoke to the Associated Press.

The Yemeni ISIS branch warned that this was just the tip of the iceberg.
