Greek Communist Party (KKE) Secretary General Dimitris Koutsoumbas said that the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) party and its junior partner, the Independent Greeks (ANEL), are together finalizing the last details of measures to accompany the February 20 agreement reached at Eurogroup.

Speaking at a KKE event in Thessaloniki, he was critical of the deal, stating that it consists of memorandum measures and is, in effect, and extension of the memorandum that bridges the old memorandum with a new one.  He said that the government is calling its policy of securing more “hot state money for the domestic monopoly groups” a “national effort”. He accused the government of serving the interests of the bourgeois.
