Latest poll shows a 6 point swing for ‘Bremain’

11% still undecided

According to the latest poll conducted by Research Institute Comres and published exclusively in newspaper ‘Daily Mail’ and aired on ‘ITV’, hours before the ballots stations opened for voting, 48 per cent of 1,032 polled were for the UK to remain in the EU, against 42 per cent in favour of a ‘Brexit’. Analysts estimate the undecided voters, who are likely to decide in the polling stations are about 11 per cent. The findings of the pollster showed that the most influential public figures who swayed those polled to go one way or the other were: UK PM David Cameron (Bremain-26%), former London Mayor Boris Jonson (Brexit-25%), Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbin (Bremain-20%). The ‘Brexit’ camp’s strongest argument is that Britain can manage its own affairs once out of the EU, while the pro-remain camp’s selling point is that leaving the EU would have serious consequences on the country’s economy.
