Life sentence for the “evil monster” who murdered his 26-year-old wife and chopped her into 224 pieces

The killing took place last March in Lincolnshire, UK – The killer’s friend who helped him dump the unfortunate woman’s remains in a river was also convicted

A 28-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment after he stabbed his 26-year-old partner in March 2023, chopped her into more than 200 pieces and then paid £50 to a friend … to have her blown to bits in a river.

The crime, starring an “evil monster”, as the perpetrator was described in court, took place in Lincolnshire in the east of England, while the remains of the unfortunate 26-year-old Holly Bramley were found in the River Widam.

The killer Nicholas Metson, who admitted the murder, was sentenced to 19 years and 316 days.

His friend, who helped dispose of the body almost a week later, was also sentenced to three years and three months in prison.

“The cause of death cannot be determined given the manner in which you treated Holly’s body after killing her,” the judge, addressing the offender, said while reading the sentence.

Police divers discovered 224 remains of the 26-year-old’s body, which the perpetrator had previously kept hidden in the apartment where they lived.

The couple had married in 2021 but were on the verge of separation when Metson, who suffers from autism spectrum disorder (ASD), proceeded to murder her.

On March 17, 2023, Metson stabbed his 26-year-old wife multiple times in their bedroom before carrying her to the bathroom, where he dismembered her.

Her remains were then stored in the kitchen for almost a week before being dumped in the River Widam by the 28-year-old’s friend.
