Man wearing Jesus t-shirt not allowed to enter shopping mall because it was “offensive” (video)

A Mall of America spokesperson told the Daily Mail, however, that the man was eventually allowed to remain in the mall wearing his shirt

There has been an uproar in the US after a security staff member of a shopping mall asked a visitor to remove a T-shirt with the phrase “Jesus Saves” on it.

According to the Daily Mail, the incident took place at the Mall of America in Minnesota over the weekend with the video going viral.

In the video, security officers are seen asking the man to remove his shirt or otherwise leave the mall.

“If you want to shop here, you have to take off this shirt,” the security guard can be heard saying to the man.

Elsewhere in the video, the security guard told the man “Jesus is associated with religion and offends people. People feel offended.”

After the video was made public, a protest rally was organised at the particular shopping centre.

A Mall of America spokesperson told the Daily Mail, however, that the man was eventually allowed to remain in the mall wearing his shirt.
