Mexican policewoman suspended after topless photo goes viral on social media (photos)

Mother of two was in uniform on duty at the time

A police woman from Mexico was suspended for posting a selfie topless while on duty. Nidia Garcia, 34, took a photo of herself in her uniform with her breasts exposed in her patrol car. The image swept across social media and the mother of two was immediately relieved of her duties pending further investigations. After her photo went viral Garcia said she was disgusted with the picture. Garcia, who worked in Monterrey, two hours from the Texas border, wrote on her Facebook page later offering a grovelling apology saying ‘I was wrong in letting myself be photographed in my hours of work while still wearing the infirm of an officer’. ‘I feel disgusted by the great damage caused and mainly to the damage caused to my two daughters’, she continued. It is not clear whether she was the one that took the photo or a partner helped her.
