Mini riot again near Athens polytechnic

Referendum or no referendum, self-styled anarchists vent their … angst

Some 100 youths and young adults were setting fire to trash bins and throwing objects at nearby riot police in central Athens, adjacent to the Athens Polytechnic, early Monday morning — a scene repeated countless of times in the past by self-styled anarchists and anti-state activists taking to the streets.

The site is close to Exarchia square, the unofficial “hub” of anti-state activists in the Greek capital.
