Greek September 20 elections are too close to call

Greek polls suggest a tough election battle ahead with indecision prior to the September 20 election. A slight lead by the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) is subsiding with polls showing a fall in support for both the party and its leader, former prime minister Alexis Tsipras.

The difference between the two major parties – leftist SYRIZA and the conservative main opposition New Democracy (ND) party – is closing with pundits finding the September 20 elections too close to call.
