Photographer discovers 31 photo film rolls dating back to WWII!

Levi Bettwieser’s hobby yielded an unexpected treasure

Photographer Levi Bettwieser has a hobby. He collects old film rolls. Yet his hobby, this time around, yielded an unexpected treasure.

He managed to find 31 rolls of films which hadn’t been developed by their owner. Yet what really made those rolls special was that their original owner was a soldier during World War II!

They even had titles on them, like “French Funeral” , “Train Voyage”, and “1947”. Some of them were wrapped up in deeply personal letters.

Bettwieser recorded all the information pertaining to each film and developed them in his studio. He then published the photographs, produced from the film rolls and hopefully, will get more information on them, and who their original owner was.
