The Austrian Parliament Building, designed by architect Baron Theophil von Hansen, is an example of Greek revival. One of the building’s most famous features is the statue of Athena, the Greek goddess of war and wisdom. On the one hand she holds a spear, but her right hand carries Nike to symbolize victory.
