If you expect to see lava bubbling in a crater you’ll be disappointed and the thermal spas are more lukewarm than hot. Still, I guess it’s worth the tiring pilgrimage considering that without it Santorini would not be as we know it today. Now declared dormant, it still smells like rotten egg.
