Plane loses wheel after taking off from Italian airport! (video)

The wheel weighed 122kg, was 1.25m tall and 49cm thick and fell into a vineyard – The aircraft landed safely at its destination

A particularly disturbing incident occurred yesterday, near the airport of Taranto in Italy, when a huge aircraft immediately after take-off lost one of its wheels.

The video, which has been doing the rounds on the internet, shows the moment a huge Boeing 747 Dreamlifter takes off and loses one of the aircraft’s 18 wheels, which caught fire at the moment of separation.

The plane is the second largest in the world, it was built to transport fuselage parts between the units of the American company.

The wheel has a weight of 122 kg, a height of 1.25 meters and a thickness of 49 cm. It fell into a vineyard and caused no injury. The Boeing landed at its destination in North Carolina, USA.
