PM Mitsotakis apologizes to the citizens admitting that the management of the snowstorm was “unsuccessful”

"Things did not go well and we have to adjust our plans"

With a “sincere apology” to those who suffered trapped on Attiki Odos, the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, began his introductory speech to the Council of Ministers.

He assured that blame will be assigned, acknowledging failures and inadequacies.

He thanked the executives of the State and the Hellenic Armed Forces for the overwhelming efforts they made and concluded by saying, “we learn and we move forward”.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis described the management of the snowstorm as “unsuccessful”.

“Things did not go well and we need to update our plans”, he said.
