PM Tsipras: If we don’t reform social security system, we won’t pay pensions in five years

He said that February will be a critical month

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had a brief discussion with reporters at Maximos Mansion on Thursday and stressed that social security reforms are very important “as otherwise the government could not pay pensions in five years.”

He also said that February will be a critical month as “the issues of social security reforms, bad loans and the medium-term plan are ahead.” adding, though, that the government will be ready for the evaluation.

Mr. Tsipras said that 2015 ended with good news for the government adding that the government has achieved greater absorption rates of the NSRF.

Earlier, unions of Zakynthos, Northern Epirus and multi-child parents sang Christmas carols at Maximos Mansion.
