Tsipras: 15% of public sector jobs to be filled by persons with disabilities, PM says

The President of Paralympic Committee George Foudoulakis during the plenary session of the Parliament put the blame on the Prime MInister for the politcs followed to the issue of people with disabilities. At a special event to honour the members of the Greek mission to the 2016 Rio Paralympics., mr Foudoyulakis intervened to say that the cuts are heavier for them. Earlier, the Prime Minister had said that a 15 percent of jobs in the public sector will be filled by persons with disabilities announcing that the relevant bill will be tabled in parliament in the next few days. Addressing the athletes with disabilities, the prime minister underlined that the measure served as “tangible support to your daily struggle, but also a constant reminder to society that you are not second-class citizens,” adding that the quality and the morals of a country are primarily reflected in the treatment of its weakest members.
