The systems Pathogenicity, which is supposedly made to serve people and cure them, revealed the suicide of a 44 year old man  who jumped into empty space on Friday morning. Besides the personal and family tragedy there are mistakes, actions and doctors omissions which are responsible to detect mental illnesses and a duty to heal them.

A few hours after the suicide became known, it was revealed that the 44 year old man was taken to the Egnation hospital, where the doctors diagnosed him with severe depression as well as further mental issues. However, they couldn’t accommodate the patient since the hospital was not on duty – He was then transferred by police car to the Dromokaitio Hospital, where two  doctors felt that he shouldn’t be hospitalized and let him go.

A few hours later he committed suicide by jumping from his 4rth floor balcony into empty space.

On Friday evening, the procecutor Mr. Haralampos Lakafasis ordered the arrest of the two doctors of the Dromokaitio, since they didn’t keep the unfortunate man to be hospitalized.
