Schäuble: We are trying to disburse 10 billion euros until next week

Europe is trying to allocate the 10 billion euros to Greece for the recapitalization of the banks, German Finance Minister said

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble said today that he wants euro zone to disburse the 10 billion euros for the recapitalization of the Greek banks by next week.

Mr. Schäuble told reports in Brussels that Europe was trying to allocate the 10 billion euros to Greece, as agreed in principle, until the beginning of next week.

The German minister also said that EU finance ministers have talked about the possible referendum on Britain’s membership of the EU, but added that these talks didn’t concern the finance ministers.

“Let’s see first what Cameron says. Then we will hold negotiations, but not at the level of finance ministers,” he said.
