Soltz and Macron put pressure on Putin for an immediate ceasefire

“We did not become slaves and we will never be”, says Zelensky

“We are defending our country for the 15th day. We insisted. The Ukrainian army pushes back attacks in key areas. Thanks to our army, the National Guard, the border guards, the police, the terrorists and all those who joined the defense, we did not become slaves. And we will never be. Because this is our spirit, this is our destiny”, he said in a speech today.

He also signed a law on the forced confiscation of Russian property in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the German Chancellor Olaf Solz and the French President Emmanuel Macron have put pressure on the Russian President Vladimir Putin for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine.

According to a German government official, the two European leaders also told the Russian president today that any solution to the war in Ukraine should come from “negotiations between Ukraine and Russia”, the official added.
