Main opposition Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) party on Thursday referred to the Prime Minister Samaras’ and Vice President Venizelos’ statements on the uniform real estate ownership tax (ENFIA) saying that the government will meet its Waterloo with ENFIA.

SYRIZA said that there are no words to describe the ridicule and the mockery by Samaras and Venizelos, who are sending a ‘nightmare’ to households in the form of the ENFIA report and later give orders for amendments and postponed payments.

The statement goes on to add that this is “an unprecedented confiscation of the citizens’ property, which does not provide for a tax-free threshold and does not protect small property owners”.
