The political controversy surrounding an email allegedly sent by Christos Triantopoulos has reached the Greek Parliament, sparking heated exchanges between government officials and opposition parties. The newspaper Estia published claims that the email in question, addressed to Ministers Gerapetritis and Skertsos, revealed Triantopoulos’ coordinating role in the restoration efforts at the site of the Tempi train disaster
