The alleged accomplice of Koumandareas murderer gave himself up to the police

He surrendered to the police on Friday morning, accompanied by his lawyer

29-year-old Kosmin Gaitan, a Romanian national who has been wanted by the police for assisting in the murder of famous Greek author Menis Koumandareas is currently in custody.

The alleged accomplice of Stephan, the 25-year-old Romanian who was apprehended on Monday at Victoria’s Square and confessed to the murder of the late 83-year-old writer, surrendered on Friday morning.

According to information, he arrived to the police station accompanied by his layer and gave himself up.

It should be noted that 29-year-old man is believed to be in possession of the 150,000 euros that were stolen from Koumandareas’ house and may have been the motive of the heinous crime.
