According to a poll just a week after the report of the US Senate denounced  torture against dozens of people, almost six out of ten Americans (59%)consider the way CIA handled the “suspected terrorists” to be “justified”.

It is worth mentioning that 47% of Americans consider the report by the US Senate “Unfair”.

At the same time the majority (54%) believes that the CIA deceived “intentionally” the White House, the Congress as well as the  public opinion.

Another interesting result, was that 56% also believes that the methods used, allowed the CIA to gather information and to  prevent future attacks.
