Thessaloniki mayor Yiannis Boutaris will depart on Sunday for his scheduled visit to the Albanian cities of Tirana and Durres, which will last from September 21 until September 23.

During his visit, Mr. Boutaris will meet with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and All Albania Anastasios.

Thessaloniki mayor is also scheduled to meet with the President of the Albanian Parliament Ilir Meta, the Tirana mayor Lulzim Basha and Korce mayor Sotiraq Filo.

According to an official announcement, during his three-day-visit Mr. Boutaris will be declared honorary citizen of the city of Durres.
