Aristotle University of Thessaloniki: Prosecutorial investigation into the reoccupation of the Law School

The prosecutor ordered a criminal investigation into the reoccupation of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a few hours after the building was evacuated after police intervention.

The investigated offences, in the context of a preliminary investigation, concern disruption of public service and illegal violence.

According to sources at the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a complaint had been filed by the Faculty’s dean’s office.

According to the same sources, a similar report had been made a few days ago about the ongoing occupation at the Law School, prompting a preliminary investigation, followed by the police operation yesterday morning.
