Troika leaves Athens due to phone-tapping incident

They will return within 24 hours after discussing the draft agreement with the heads of the institutions

The representatives of Greece’s lenders decided to leave Greece on Friday, a decision that is related to the leak of Thomsen-Velculescu talks.

According to information, they left Athens so as to discuss with the heads of institutions about the Greek program, since they do not want to have this kind of conversation over phone.

They will return within 24 hours, after presenting to the heads of the institutions the draft agreement.
