During the meeting between the president of SYRIZA Mr. Alexis Tsipras and the president of Austria Mr. Heinz Fischer, dominated the exchange of views about the crisis in Greece and the situation in Europe.

According to a statement by SYRIZA Mr. Tsipras had the opportunity to express the programmatic and alternative options of SYRIZA, relating to debt, the humanitarian crisis that the country is experiencing, as well as the multidimensional, energetic and peaceful policy that Greece must follow.

Further, Mr. Tsipras referred to the existing traditionally good relationship between Greece and Austria as well as the potential for being further upgraded.
