Turkey continues violations against Greek national airspace

Six F-16s, a helicopter and a CN-235 spy plane

The Turkish air force committed a series of new violations of Greek national airspace, Wednesday when 8 aircraft (six F-16 fighter jets, one helicopter, and one CN-235 reconnaissance plane) flew over Greek airspace in regions of the north and the south-east Aegean Sea. From the total of 8 violations, 7 were carried out by the helicopter, while the Turkish aircraft also infringed the Athens FIR on six occasions.
