The arrest of Imam Fethullah Gulen’s niece by the Turkish authorities was announced by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
The arrest took place while Sumeyye Gulen was trying to cross into Greece.
According to the announcement, “10 people who were trying to cross illegally in Greece were arrested by the troops at the border”.
“The investigation revealed that five of those arrested were members of the terrorist organization FETO and one of them was Sumeyye Gulen, a niece of Fethullah Gulen”.
