Turkish UAV flies over Greek isle, as tensions continue to rise

Foreign media pundits have expressed serious concerns about a possible conflict

As tensions between Greece and Turkey have recently escalated dangerously with verbal attacks by Turkish government officials, including President Erdogan himself, with open disputes over the sovereignty of large Greek islands, Turkey’s flagrant provocations against Greece also continued on a practical level as a Turkish UAV carried out an overflight above the islet of Nisyros.

Foreign media pundits have expressed serious concerns about a possible conflict between Greece and Turkey, both NATO members, over disputes in the Aegean Sea.

This morning, Wednesday 15 June at 10:37, an unmanned Turkish UAV flew over the island of Kandelioussa at 19,000 feet.
