U.S. Embassy’s outreach program to Thessaloniki

A U.S. outreach program to Thessaloniki is taking place on October 23-24 to accept passport applications, meet with the public and perform notary tasks

The U.S. Embassy announced that a U.S. Consul will perform a consular outreach trip to Thessaloniki, at the U.S. Consulate in Thessaloniki, on Thursday, October 23, and Friday, October 24, 2014. During the visit, the Consul will accept passport applications, applications to register the birth of children born abroad to U.S. citizen parent(s) and provide limited notary services. A representative from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will also accept applications for immigration purposes for immediate relatives of American citizens wishing to immigrate to the United States and a representative from the Social Security Administration (SSA) will answer questions regarding social security issues on Thursday, October 23, from 10.30 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. and on Friday October 24, from 9.00 a.m. until 1.00 p.m.   Anyone wishing to meet with a representative from either DHS or SSA can do so on a walk-in basis.
