Major US newspapers focus on the tourism contribution to the positive image of Greece

Several American media report the fact that Greece has the “strongest growth” in eurozone in the third quarter of 2014, reaching the 0.7% of GDP, while some highlight the country’s exit from”.

New York Times reports that “Greece after its five year economic disaster managed to have a growth in development of 0.7%. This year the country made a comeback in borrowing from the financial markets and has significantly improved its financial performance”.

Washington Post  among other characterizes “good news” the fact that Greece “Cures the paralysis” that the six-year downturn caused.

Wall Street Journal reports that “Greece returned to growth following a six year recession makes one of the fastest economic contractions in postwar European history”.

Finally the report concludes that tourism contributed  to a great extend to the positive image of Greece.
