The American University Duke has decided to ” hand over immediately” to the US government a Byzantine manuscript of the 10th century which comes from the Mount Athos Monastery of Dionysiou.

Then the Us government will return it to its rightful owners, the Greeks.

The news became known following the visit of the general secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Sport, Lina Mendoni in Washington,  which after her visit to the US capital will represent the Greek government at the opening of the exhibition: “The Greeks: Since Agamemnon to Alexander the Great “in Montreal.
