Venizelos: We’re headed straight for Memorandum III

“Unfortunately our country is dragged and degraded within the euro” said the leader of PASOK

In his interview to Greek newspaper “Agora” the leader of PASOK accused the SYRIZA government of playing “a game of bilingualism”, while in the meantimem according to Evangelos Venizelos, the “Greek economy deteriorates”.

In question about if he is afraid of a Grexit, Venizelos replied that “neither an international credit event in the legal sense of the term they will let us endure, nor a Grexit will happen” and he continued by saying that “Unfortunately our country is dragged and degraded within the euro at a time that was ready to emerge to the surface and back to normality”.

Venizelos also stated that “We lost the primary surplus and positive growth. We have a shortfall of revenue and a leak of deposits. Investment immobility and increase in non-performing loans. So we head straight ahead for Memorandum No3, without being able to tackle liquidity problems.

The PASOK leader expressed Criticizing to the government and spoke of an “overwhelming defeat of supposedly tough negotiators”, while at the same time he accuses the government for “hiding the extension of contract” and believes that the government “does not want admit of signing the same text as the previous government. At the same time they don’t want to admit that they took of their hands the 11 billion euro reserve.
