Ninety works of noted 19th and 20th Greek artists will go on auction in the coming period, with a first display of the works coming this weekend at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in central Athens, followed by an exhibition in London’s Coningsby Gallery from April 24 to May 1.

A third exhibition will take place on Cyprus at the Cypria gallery in mid May.

Works include the “Transport Individuel” by Yiannis Gaitis, “The Greek brig Ares” by Konstantinos Volonakis, “Quince” by Nikiphoros Lytras, “Image E P” by Yiannis Spyropoulos and a landscape by Cypriot painter Telemachos Kanthos.

Works by Moralis, Parthenis, Tsarouchis and Vassiliou, amongst others, are also set for sale.
